Wedding photography: tips and tricks!
It will tell the story of your special day professionally and with discretion and it will let your memories last forever: the choice of your wedding photography and of its style is what really needs some good emotive attunement. The photographer, of course, will not be the only one to capture your beautiful moments, though: selfies, friends, mobile photography and social networks are there too. How should you manage them? Let’s start with some little selfie tricks: never shoot in backlight or with full light, because every tiny little flaw will be highlighted. Point your smartphone at a 45 degrees angle from your face, instead: your eyes will look so much wider!
You shouldn’t care of social networks on your wedding day, but it could be nice to think of a special hashtag that represents you and your beloved one. Let it know to your guests, so that tracking your wedding pictures on your guests’ social profiles will be way easier! Don’t overpost: nobody likes a Facebook timeline that’s all about your wedding, especially those who weren’t there with you and are not close contacts anyway. To avoid annoyances, check your privacy settings before posting your pics.
Tell your guests to show you their pictures before posting them: not all of their shots may be that great and non-consensual tagging should definitely be banned! Have fun with the mobile apps that add color or charming filters to your photos, like Instagram, Retrica and the likes. If you’re into hi-tech, maybe you could think of taking your wedding pics from a drone robot! Another creative idea would be that of creating little photo booths to share with your friends and relatives to have fun with some document-sized shots. If you hire a wedding photographer, ask them if they could showcase your wedding photos during your party! Or have them create personalized and interactive digital albums for you and your guests.
