In the name of love: a wedding in Tuscany

A precious and important love story is the one that Angela and Francesco began eighteen years ago. They live in a little enchanting place, the isle of Elba, but that is not the place they chose for their special “I do”. “We wanted to celebrate our wedding in a very personal way and find something that we truly felt ours, with a very intimate ceremony and an after party only with our beloved ones” told us the bride.

This is how they chose the magic countryside in the area of Siena, and organized their wedding in Tuscany, pretty much in the middle of the region. They celebrated in the church of Pieve di Corsignano, in Pienza, on a sunny afternoon on September 8th. Father Mirco, directly from Elba, guided the ritual. White was the dominant color of the decorations: the delicate bouvardia – the same flower which was dominant in her round and elegant bouquet – roses and hydrangea, the delicate touch of gypsophila. The couple drove a romantic Alfa Spider Duetto after the religious ceremony, and celebrated with their guests in Monticchiello later on, at Villa L’apparita: “We stayed there all together for the entire weekend, in a beautiful and authentic atmosphere”, explains Angela.  The preparations didn’t last any longer than forty days, “even my mom knew we were getting married practically almost when we were about to!”, says the bride with a laugh. “I was so lucky, I had so many special people by my side, and plenty of brave professionals that helped me make my dream come true”.

Angela chose a dress by Elisabetta Polignano for her special day: “I wanted a white dress, a jaunty one, although I didn’t want to give up on quality. I asked some modifications to the corsage cut and added a bit more lace. The skirt was so soft it made me feel like I was on a cloud…”. Angela’s hairstyle was half up.

“Everything went the way it had to and our celebration in Tuscany helped me feel quiet and content. It’s been a wonderful weekend, which gave me the chance to enjoy my family, my bestmen and my friends fully, in all their beauty”.
