A few great tips for your wedding gown necklines (our Happy Easter post!)

Spring has finally come and the first orange blossoms of the year are blooming all around. So we can finally dedicate ourselves to new emotions, new promises and New surprises! Easter is near and Elisabetta Polignano wants to give you a special tip to choose the right wedding gown necklines for your most special day.

The wedding gown should first meet your personal taste of course – as long as you are giving value to your unique body shape (which is perfect as it is!). Our stylist reminds us that “You should not change the way you look on your wedding day, coherence with oneself is important. Keep in mind that you have no flaws, just features that make you unique. You have to embrace them and honor them”. On our blog Semplicemente Favolosa (“Simply Fabulous”) and in our free Ebook “Il Mio Abito da Sposa” (“My Wedding Dress”), we already talked about the most suitable models for your body shape. Today Elisabetta’s tips will be specifically about the wedding gown necklines.

“If you’re skinny and your breasts are humble, the most suitable for you are the boat necklines” – says the stylist – “so that they could fold the whole décolleté and fit nicely with a high support bra. If your breasts are not tiny, you may want to prefer deeper, “humeral” necklines, or “V” necklines with some lace decorations, which push up and slender your whole body. “V” necklines are perfect for tall girls too, anyway”. Heart shaped necklines are recommended too: “It gives an elegant touch and fits perfectly and it goes great with any middle-sized bra’s”.

Crew necks and rollnecks are recommended for all the brides-to-be with a thin and fine neck. Remember also that the wedding gown will make you look pretty different from what you are used to see yourself like, together with the make-up and the hairstyle. Whatever your personal taste is, don’t forget to make it coherent with yourself: “Find your own balance, don’t show yourself off if it’s not your usual style. Don’t play another person’s role just because you saw something cool online, remember to honor your personality”.

Elisabetta Polignano and the whole staff wish you a very Happy Easter: let it be full of love and nice surprises!
