4 tips for the urban bride
Metropolitan weddings are 2014’s new hype: regardless of country traditional settings, they are the perfect option for those who love minimal style and to say “I do” in the city. Their celebrations are all set in alternative locations, with minimal, fine decorations and present a discrete aesthetic effect, especially in the wedding feast.
It’s a clear cut choice in wedding style. It being so essential, nothing is left to chance. Not even the wedding gown, of course, which always looks simple and classy in these contexts. What’s the right type to choose? Multilayer skirts and mermaid endings are not common in these urban settings, whereas clean, simple, and geometrical features tend to be a preferred choice, together with lace and satin and all empowered by V necklines, tiny sleeves and big epaulettes.
Natural hairstyles are also preferred: half-up, say the trend set predictions, better if with no accessories or veils. The metropolitan bride prefers the pony tail to the braid, natural wavelengths to striking looks, and has that comfy, chic attitude we love so much in this new hype. The same story goes for the wedding shoes: simple and not just for the wedding day itself.
The urban bride is also a 2.0 bride: she follows traditions by updating the media. She’s the one who organizes the whole ceremony through the internet: the suppliers and the wedding list are all recruited and filled online. The invitations and the tips for the guests? They’re sent online too.
