Love poems on the lake – Giuditta and Luca’s wedding story

It was a warm evening in June, with music, dances and many friends: this is how Giuditta and Luca’s wedding story begins.

The couple decided to live their special day in a relaxed, sober and traditional atmosphere. “We curated everything personally, in every detail,” explains Giuditta, who gave a book of poetries curated by her as wedding favor to each of her guests. For their wedding, Giuditta and Luca chose a little, cozy church in the countryside of Rome and held their long after party in the family’s villa in Poggio Di Braccio, a poetic village on Lake Trasimeno. “The dj was a friend of ours and stopped putting records at five a.m.!”, says Giuditta, with a smile on her face.

For her special day, Giuditta chose a wedding dress by Elisabetta Polignano with a simple line but made with very precious fabrics that perfectly matched the veil she inherited by her mother. “I visited many showrooms and tried many dresses before I found the one which stole my heart”, explains Giuditta: “in the showroom Il Giardino Fiorito delle Spose I found the right atmosphere. No matter where else I went, I always got that dress back in my mind”.

Giuditta and Luca had a quiet wedding, which at the same time felt joyous and very exciting. Guests on the lake could choose between dancing and snuggling up in a cozy blanket, while sitting on the lake’s shore. Such a genuine and authentic celebration, which touched everybody’s hearts!
