A need-to-know list for flower girls
Rosy cheeks, ribbons and sparkles of magic. Having a flower girl cruising down the aisle is lovely, but it takes a little bit of preparation. Here are some info you would know and some tips to help make it easy.
1. THE DRESS
There are no limits to cuteness, so explore all possibilities about the little one’s dress. There are many little-girl looks to choose from, either they recall the bride’s dress or not. Elisabetta Polignano herself had little kids walking down her catwalk and it was so much colorful.
2. THE SUPPORT
Partnering flower girls with ring bearers works great: they can proceed together, side by side, and this will give them confidence and make them feel supported. Plus, how even cuter is that?
3. LET THEIR FANTASY BE
Flower girls usually scatter rose petals along the bridal path, but there are other alternatives: they can carry a single bloom, a pomander or even blow bubbles. They will have fun and make your wedding guests smile.
4. GO WITH THE FLOW
Don’t try to control everything, just let it be. Whatever the flower girl does (and yes, she might cry, drop the basket, lift up her dress…), her personality and preciousness will only add cuteness to the wedding.
