La vie en rose means that you see life through happy lenses, in rosy hues. It is so easy to match that happy feelings with the scent of the queen of all flowers, the rose. It’s not just because we use the same word to refer to both the flower and the color, it is all about romanticism.

It’s not by chance that Elisabetta Polignano used roses to enrich the design of her creations with. The 2019 collection shows these precious details as an homage to Rosa Genoni and to celebrate all women in their grace, beauty, strength and power of passionate and pure love.
Let’s start from Paris, maybe the most romantic city of all. The Parc de Bagatelle is not a rose garden exclusively, but it is so enchanting: its roses are planted with classical French formality to create floral carpets in repeating patterns near a 1775 chateau. Oh, my!
Vive la France and let’s keep going to get to Montreal, where you find one of the world’s best botanical garden and a Rose Garden featuring 10,000 rose bushes that present the development of roses. Take a stroll hand in hand, it is a very romantic walk on pathways set among trees and ponds.
As you already know, Elisabetta Polignano’s creations are 100% Made in Italy. The stylist uses precious Italian textiles to design the perfect wedding dress for each bride, including any detail such as the roses we told you about. We can’t help paying a visit to Rome: the Roseto Municipale is a treasure on the ruin-scattered Aventine Hill near the Circus Maximus. Its large rose collections climb over paths and sprawl up hillsides. Can you imagine?
