Elisabetta Polignano’s runway show 2016: interview at Dorothy Silver

Here’s our third appointment with the special interviews we had last May 22nd on Elisabetta Polignano’s most recent European runway show held in the fascinating Palazzo Visconti in San Babila, the upper class neighborhood in the very center of Milan, Italy. After hearing the stunning reviews of Rachel Leonard, Fashion Director at Brides (you can watch the interview here) and Giuliana Parabiago, former Editor in Chief at Vogue Sposa (find her interview right here), we had the pleasure to meet up with gorgeous Dorothy Silver, Sales Director at Kleinfeld Bridal, who definitely loved Polignano’s new bridal collections and dropped some amazing comments about them.

“The show was beautiful”, she says, “I loved the idea of the mixing of the metallics and the sheerness: it’s so very modern and right on”. Dorothy pointed out the sensuality of these new collections, which was also definitely among Polignano’s goals: the enhancement of femininity in all of its meanings. “These brides like to be very sexy. [They’re still] looking like a bride, yet having that very sexy and sheer kind of look”.

As far as the more traditional looks are concerned, “the introduction of flowers was very very special and very very now. I saw lots of beautiful fabrics and embroideries which made these brides very very special, almost one of a kind”.

We’re so glad about Dorothy’s comments. Her enthusiasm didn’t seem any lower than ours: “I can’t wait to get up close and see the collections up close. I loved it”, she concludes.

How did this runway show feel to you? And how did you like these new collections? Let us know in the comments down below!
