How to pick a wedding veil

“It depends on the wedding dress. You’d better not overdo, the important thing is to keep a fine balance” Elisabetta explains. She recommends a simple veil in case you’ll be wearing a rich and majestic gown. With a very puffy dress, a short veil matches better. If you’ll go with a more essential and flowing model, pick a lace veil.

“I always suggest my brides to choose a very simple hairstyle, especially if they’re wearing a solemn dress – Elisabetta says -. Of course “the bride should always respect her own personality” when picking the veil, as much as she should for her wedding gown.

Is it ok to wear the veil if you’re having a civil marriage? “The veil is not bounded to a religious tradition anymore” the stylist adds. You’re free to go with any model that feels perfect for you, even capes and cloaks.
