Tips for your fall bridal make-up

Fall is finally here and long, shiny summer days are now happy memories. The season now feels cozy and sweet, but its shorter and darker days demand a change in your make-up style. Our make-up artist Zaira Fontaneto is here to give you the right advices for your fall bridal make-up: “Days are shorter now and bridal make-up should become a bit more intense”, she says. “I love the idea to make my brides’ eyes shine, especially because most of them prefer to celebrate starting from the afternoon”.

Magic to the eyes, then: “I intensify with black eyeliners, soft shadows and lots of waterproof mascara. Sounds a bit dark, but the result is gorgeous and never too strong, if you blur and use the right touch!” Cheeks and lips should remain lighter: “I usually choose a tiny, light blush on the cheeks and nude-pink colors on the lips, as well as a little bit of gloss just in the middle of the upper and lower lips”, she explains. A little tip to hide frown lines and have a porcelain skin effect: “Get a moisturizing gel or serum and apply it on your face, neck and décolleté before your make-up primer: it will make your skin brighter, frownies lighter and it’ll dry fast on all types of skin, so that you won’t need much face powder”, explains Zaira. “Remember to choose a mat foundation, too!”.
