Choose the best bridal veil with Elisabetta’s tips!

Elisabetta Polignano has a little summer surprise for you: a few precious tips to choose the bridal veil that’s best for you.

“Bridal veils are always okay, but the right match depends on the kind of gown you choose” explains Elisabetta. “My first advice would be: opt for balance! Harmony is always the right choice. If, for example, you choose a very rich and detailed wedding dress, the veil should be as simple as possible. If your dress is wide and ample, maybe choose a shorter veil. If your gown is minimal and essential, choose a veil in lace”.

What about the right hairstyle? “I always suggest a very simple hairstyle to match with the veil” adds Elisabetta, “especially if the gown has already lots of rich details. A bride’s hairstyle is always fundamental, of course, and you can choose among so many options. An accessory like the veil, though, should be absolutely matched with the gown. The bride has to recognize herself. If she wants to stand out and feel at ease, each single detail of her gown and veil’s styling should be harmonized in the whole picture. That’s the only way she can express her personality without any style flop”.

If you’re not going to get married with a religious celebration, but you still would love to wear a veil, there’s no problem with that: “Veils are not bound to religious meanings anymore, so feel free to be creative without hurting anyone’s sensitivity!”, says Elisabetta: “Capes and head accessories are all cool and original examples. Try to choose harmony, but be who you are!”.
